Demonstrators gathered at Columbus Circle and Central Park and marched down Seventh Avenue, banging drums and railing against the Trump administration’s “Operation Epic Fury” in Iran, its immigration policies and planned cuts to Medicaid and public education. Many chanted “No ICE! No Kings! White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson dismissed the widespread rallies as being pushed by “leftist funding networks” and claimed they had little public support.
