Planning documents have revealed that a new McDonald's could soon open at a Nottinghamshire retail park. An application has been made for the fast food chain's famous golden arches to be placed on part of the Broad Centre, in Station Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
The recent application, which was made by McDonald's and received by the council on Friday, December 13, asks for permission to install new signs with the company's iconic yellow branding. According to the previously submitted application, the proposed opening hours for the McDonald's would be 5am to 3am from Thursday to Saturday and 5am to 12am from Sunday to Wednesday.
"It will also provide local job opportunities in accordance which attaches significant weight to supporting economic growth." The planning application to install McDonald's signage is pending consideration by Ashfield District Council.
