FAIRBANKS, Alaska -It was a tough two game this past weekend for the Nanook’s hockey team, with two one goal losses against the Michigan Tech Huskies .
Alaska managed to get to overtime after a strong Michigan Tech attack late, which saw two goals called off due to a high-sticking and reviewed offside call. Nicholas Grabko saved 10 of the total 26 shots he faced for the game in just the third period alone. Game two saw all the action in the first period, with Tech scoring 3:30 seconds into the first period, and they followed it up on the power play 13 minutes later.
