Redshirt Junior Ainsley Smith set up the decisive hit, floating the ball toward the left side of the Nanooks’ net, which Nielson blasted into the hand of a Saint Martin’s player. The ball deflected out of bounds, as Nielson turned back to celebrate with her teammates. UAF struggled to find their groove in the set, seeing attempts on good opportunities fall out of bounds as Saint Martin’s came up with a handful of big plays.
