Authorities are looking for anyone who witnessed the crash or the events surrounding it.
Christopher Poore, 23, faces charges of leaving the scene of a fatal accident and tampering with evidence following the wreck in Pittsgrove, State Police said.
Early Sept. 28, 45-year-old Allen Miller Jr. of Vineland was hit and killed by a vehicle traveling east on Route 40 near milepost 20.5.
