Cape Town City have appointed former Kaizer Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral as their new technical director and interim coach. Ertugral will take charge of the Citizens until the end of the season, with his first match likely to be against his former club, Kaizer Chiefs , in a Betway Premiership clash in Cape Town on Sunday. The ambitious club from the Mother City are currently three points above the relegation zone in 12th place.
They will face a Chiefs side coming off a 1-0 victory over Chippa United. Ertugral brings a wealth of experience to the club, having most recently served as the technical advisor of the Turkish national team for four years. City parted ways with Eric Tinkler earlier this year after a string of poor results
