A grand jury indicted Jessica Quintana last week after she allegedly attempted to drown her three kids in Liberty County in September, records show.
A Liberty County grand jury indicted a mother accused of attempting to drown her three kids last September, records show. Jessica Quintana was indicted on Wednesday on the three charges against her: two counts of serious bodily injury to a child and one count of attempting to commit aggravated assault and serious bodily injury.
According to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office, in the early morning hours of Sept. 29, they responded to a call for a possible drowning at a Liberty County property and found Quintana and her three children out of the water. The children's father was the one who reportedly called 911 and pulled his children out, while a responding deputy was the one who rescued Quintana. Authorities said the children were last placed in CPS custody, which placed them with their maternal grandparents. The children's father was also charged, but with a misdemeanor unrelated to the near-drowning, and he was out of jail soon after his arrest.NASA says 'mechanical issue' results in plane's 'gear-up landing'Pct. 3 deputy constable accused of attacking nurses out on bond: Docs
