► Mick Schumacher joins line-up as test driver
Last year was a disaster in Mercedes terms. After winning every constructor’s championship in the hybrid era, Mercedes slipped to third in 2022 and only achieved two wins – both in Brazil. The driver line up remains the same as last year, though Mick Schumacher now joins the team as a test and reserve driver after spending two years at Haas.Most of the details are unseen or will be revealed at the first test in Bahrain, but we can make a few observations already. The W14 itself looks to be an evolution last year’s car, with the same philosophy of nose and the same controversial size zero sidepods as before.
