The new car claims many improvements from before, most notably a new turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six gas engine and a 148-hp electric motor that give it an extra 41 horsepower overall. The battery pack is also larger than before, and while EPA estimates aren't available yet, Mercedes claims an electric-only range more than double the old car's, which would put it at above 40 miles.
