Kriby City Council postponed vote deciding the fate of Councilwoman Susan Street due to a medical emergency. The Kirby City Council wants to vote Councilwoman Street off of council due to allegations of her creating a toxic work environment, abusing power, and lack of transparency.
But the decision was paused when the mayor returned from an impromptu meeting and told everyone to leave due to a medical emergency. Councilwoman Street denies the allegations. “I don’t interfere with administration,” Street said. “I don’t have an office here. I’m only here for meetings so I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with that toxic work environment. I don’t work here. I have nothing to do with the workings of the city, other than when I do my questions to the council.” Street says she joined Kirby’s city council to improve the city’s streets. She feels she is being penalized for asking too many questions. The city council postponed the vote deciding whether or not Street will be removed from city council to another day.SAN ANTONIO - An investigation is underway for a officer-involved shooting involving a Castle Hills Police detective. The incident happened just after 8 a.m. Wednesday on the access road of Northwest Loop 410 and San PedSAN ANTONIO — Testimony continues today in the capital murder trial for Christopher Preciado. This week, jurors heard a timeline of when Savannah Soto, her boyfrA U.S. Marine Corps veteran received the keys to a mortgage-free home in Buda last week through a partnership between Bank of America and the Military WarriorsSAN ANTONIO - Both prosecution and defense attorneys rested in the Christopher Preciado murder trial. The judge is expected to meet with both sides outside of the jury, which was sent home for the day.Closing arguemntsKENDALL COUNTY, Texas — State Highway 46 near Enchanted Spring Ranch is being closed off in both directions as emergency crews respond to a two-vehicle crash, a
