An investigation into a report of credit card misuse Nov. 25 led to a Maple Heights man who reportedly used another man’s credit card information to purchase $6,164 worth of items at various stores between Oct. 28 and Nov. 3. The victim’s bank refunded the money, and surveillance footage at the stores led to the suspect, who was reportedly on probation for theft and attempted passing bad checks.

Police contacted the other dog owner who said his dogs were on leashes, but the three dogs became tangled in their leashes when the German shepard lunged at his dogs. He also said a man with the woman threatened to harm his dogs during the incident. There were no injuries reported and there was no further information at the time of the report.A driver was pulled over for expired plates at 4:02 p.m. Dec. 1. He was cited and his car was impounded.
