Police reported a woman was disorderly while dropping a pair of pants for her son off at Brunswick High School at 12:32 p.m. Oct. 16. She reportedly became confrontational with school staff and refused to provide identification to staff. The woman left the building with the student after being advised she could not remove him from the building without identification. Police were called and the student was returned to school.A driver was pulled over for speeding at 2:47 a.m. Oct.
The Medina man admitted to driving the vehicle and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He refused to submit to a breath test or field sobriety tests and a firearm was located inside the car. The man was cited for operating a motor vehicle impaired failure to control, and weapons under disability and was transported to the Medina County Jail.A man was arrested for shoplifting at 2:04 p.m. Oct. 18.
