A Dauphin County man is in custody on attempted homicide charges after he tried to shoot someone to death Wednesday evening, police said.. Spent shell casings were found at the scene.
Richard Blazevic III, 34, of Steelton, was identified as the shooter and arrested, police said. The person he was trying to shoot was uninjured, according to police. Steelton Borough police and the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team helped take him into custody.Blazevic is being held at the Dauphin County Prison on charges of attempted homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Swatara Township police at 717-564-2550, or submit a tip through CrimeWatch.
