A 47-year-old man was arrested for manslaughter after police found his 37-year-old husband dead when they arrived at a scene in Edmonds on the weekend. The suspect called 911 saying his husband was experiencing a violent mental health crisis and breaking property. He reportedly told police he used a neck restraint to calm him down earlier in the night, and again hours later when the situation escalated.
After talking with the man and investigating the scene, officers booked him into Snohomish County Jail on first-degree manslaughter charges
