Steven Evans denies a string of alleged offences
A man accused of filming himself sexually assaulting women while they slept suggested to a jury snoring heard in one clip was a dog. Steven Evans, 33, earlier told a court the woman in the video was 'role playing' being asleep.
It is alleged Mr Evans repeatedly drugged the second complainant. Taking to the stand, he was questioned on Wednesday . "They can be really loud, and [the dog] just slept wherever in the room," he told the jury. When it was put to him that the woman was asleep during the videos, he said: "I never had sex with her when she was asleep."
