It’s not fair. The insinuation is that she killed [Jeevan’s brother] Frank. All of his mourning and grief about his brother.

I remember that was the last take we did. Himesh and I had talked many times about a couple moments of extreme emotion. That level of vulnerability. I think that you were, Himesh, protecting the character, but also you have to be careful at moments like this because they can read wrong if they’re not relatable to every parent and every child. We had to somehow get through this episode and still not totally know who was at fault about the separation because the answer was that no one was.
