Lorain High School students shared their approval for the return of a diver’s education class for the first time in 3 decades.
LORAIN, Ohio -
The program is the result of 5 years of effort from school superintendents and Director of Secondary Initiatives Mic Beserra. Transport is a barrier that students are familiar with. “Having to beg people to give me rides all the time is a bit annoying, so it would be better to learn how to drive myself,” said Logan Wright.
“It’s a 24-hour course online, and then they’ll do their driving in the same day during the school day,” Beserra said.
