Junior Bijan Robinson rushed for a career-high 243 yards on 25 carries. Senior Roschon Johnson had 34 yards on seven carries before a lower leg injury forced him out. And redshirt freshman Jonathon Brooks picked up 108 yards and scored twice on just 11 carries. The blowout also allowed several backup linemen to get into the game. Freshman DJ Campbell and the rest of the Texas twos all got some extended run late in the game, and they helped pave the way for Brooks on a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns.
Sarkisian’s plan to win playing in frigid, gusty conditions was to keep the ball on the ground.
