Logitech expands its Mac accessory line with a new MX Mechanical Mini keyboard, featuring macOS-specific keys, a light gray color scheme, and Bluetooth connectivity. The release also includes a Mac-themed mouse, Lift for Mac, and a new K380 Bluetooth Keyboard.

Logitech has unveiled its first mechanical keyboard specifically designed for macOS users, the MX Mechanical Mini for Mac. This new iteration of the popular MX Mechanical Mini boasts several key features tailored to the Apple ecosystem. The most noticeable changes include the removal of the Windows and Alt keys, replaced by macOS-specific Option and Command keys.

Available in both dark gray and a new light gray color scheme, the keyboard aims to seamlessly integrate with the aesthetic of Mac computers. Logitech emphasizes this design consistency, stating that the light gray option was chosen to complement the look of Mac devices. Unlike its cross-platform counterpart, the MX Mechanical Mini for Mac currently only offers low-profile tactile switches. The absence of linear or clicky switch options might disappoint some users accustomed to those choices in the original MX Mechanical Mini. Another notable difference is the switch to Bluetooth connectivity exclusively, foregoing the inclusion of Logitech's wireless USB dongles. While this aligns with the trend of USB Type-C adoption, it reduces the keyboard's versatility compared to the original model. Accompanying the MX Mechanical Mini for Mac are three other new Mac-centric accessories: the MX Master 3S for Mac mouse, the Lift for Mac ergonomic mouse, and the K380 Bluetooth Keyboard for Mac. The K380 also features Mac-specific keys and comes in a new light blue color. The MX Master 3S for Mac and the Lift for Mac, on the other hand, appear to share the same functionality as their non-Mac counterparts, with their primary distinction being their light gray color scheme. All four accessories are slated for release this month, priced identically to their existing counterparts. The MX Mechanical Mini for Mac retails for $149.99, the K380 for Mac at $39.99, the MX Master 3S for Mac at $99.99, and the Lift for Mac at $69.99
