Letters to the Editor
Readers appreciated the leadership of Dr. Kern Wildenthal; the longtime reporting by Steve Brown; and the accomplishments of Bland Middle School’s boys basketball team.— Re: “Award to honor medical innovator — Former UT Southwestern leader joins ex-U.S. AG as a history-making Texan,” Feb. 29 Metro & Business story.
I read with great disappointment that Steve Brown was retiring. As the most tenured real estate reporter in Dallas-Fort worth, Brown’s ability to be accurate, thorough and timely was extraordinary. His relentless work ethic and sheer volume of stories were unimpeachable. In arguably the most competitive real estate market in this country, his reporting has always been timely and informative, particularly when dealing with the most sensitive and newsworthy transactions.
