Sony's Spider-Man Universe has had a mixed bag of successes and failures since its inception in 2018. The franchise, which includes films like Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Morbius, and Madame Web, has seen some critical and commercial disappointments. However, the upcoming release of Kraven the Hunter offers a fresh start and a chance to redeem the universe, which even the director hopes will happen.
