The Princess of Wales, 42, joined her husband, Prince William , at the Royal Albert Hall, marking the first time she has appeared at a major event since announcing she had completed her chemo on Sept. 9.
The couple was also joined by King Charles III; Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh; Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.The next day, known as Remembrance Sunday, Middleton and the rest of the royal family are set to appear at The Cenotaph war memorial in London to remember those who died in war and conflict.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”Middleton described her cancer journey as “complex, scary and unpredictable,” saying that her current focus is to do what she can to “stay cancer free.”
The mom of three went on to express her excitement to attend more public events, sharing that she has a “renewed sense of hope and appreciation for life.”
