Kate Middleton is set to join Prince William at Remembrance Day events, but Queen Camilla's attendance is unknown as she battles a chest infection
Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton attend the National Service of Remembrance at The Cenotaph on November 12, 2023 in London, England.Buckingham Palace announced that the Princess of Wales, 42, will join her husband, Prince William, and other members of the royal family at multiple Remembrance Day events, per multiple outlets.
In addition to Kate and William, 42, other royal family members reported to participate in the weekend’s events include King Charles III, Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.
“Her Majesty The Queen is currently unwell with a chest infection, for which her doctors have advised a short period of rest,” a Buckingham Palace spokesperson confirmed in a Tuesday, November 5, statement to the BBC. “With great regret, Her Majesty has therefore had to withdraw from her engagements for this week, but she very much hopes to be recovered in time to attend this weekend’s Remembrance events as normal.
