LONDON — Princess Kate will attend Remembrance Day events in London over the weekend, Buckingham Palace has said, but Queen Camilla will miss the occasion after falling ill with a chest infection. Kate has slowly returned to public duties this year following treatment for cancer, and will attend both the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday evening as well as a Sunday service at the Cenotaph monument on Sunday.
He completed his first major foreign trip in October, which included a six-day tour of Australia alongside Camilla. The King will lay a wreath of poppies at the base of the Cenotaph during Sunday's event. Queen Camilla was forced to pull out of her public engagements last week after becoming unwell with a chest infection. Buckingham Palace said the Queen will 'mark the occasion privately at home and hopes to return to public duties early next week.
