JOHOR BARU: The number of families seeking relief at temporary flood relief centres (PPS) in Johor has dropped below 10,000 for the first time in days.
According to the state disaster management committee, the number of flood evacuees at 8pm on Wednesday is 33,245 people from 9,433 families."All the centres in Muar have closed, which means only three districts have flood evacuees at present.
"A total of 107 PPS are still active, with 103 sheltering 33,146 evacuees in Batu Pahat, three sheltering 75 victims in Segamat and one in Tangkak sheltering 25 people," it said.Article type: free
