JOHOR BARU: Police have arrested two men to help with an investigation into a death threat made against popular Indonesian rock band Radja.
Johor police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the suspects, aged 37 and 48, were arrested at the Johor Baru south district police headquarters at 3.30pm on Sunday .
"The case is being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act of 1955 for insulting behaviour. "Investigations revealed that one of the suspects is a local and the other is a foreigner," he said in a statement.It was earlier reported earlier that the band said that they received death threats after a concert at the Larkin Arena Indoor Stadium here at around 11.15pm on Saturday .
The group's vocalist, Ian Kasela, said that a misunderstanding occurred between them and the organisers.
