A special VIP night saw the red carpet rolled out for the stars as the Astoria Ayr celebrated its opening
The red carpet was rolled out for the stars on Thursday night, with dignitaries packing out the Astoria Ayr ahead of its official launch on Friday night.manager Scott Brown, Ayr MSP Siobhian Brown and Council Leader Martin Dowey were all there to mark the new era for the historic picturehouse.
Geoff told Ayrshire Live:"There’s been a groundswell of support and goodwill from people in Ayr, you can see that from the overwhelming reaction we’ve had on social media. That is making this all worthwhile for us."
