The Diamonds gaffer says it's important to celebrate the cup win as a squad
Airdrie boss Rhys McCabe is letting his players off the leash tonight as they celebrate winning the SPFL Trust Trophy at the Falkirk Stadium.
In doing so, they also prevented TNS from becoming the first non-Scots side to win the Challenge Cup.Delighted boss McCabe said: “I’m going to let them enjoy their night.“I know we’ve got a game on Friday, we’ve got to be mindful of that, but make sure we enjoy tonight because I certainly believe moments like that in your career don’t often happen.
“We’ll make sure we enjoy it, I said to the boys before the game that, regardless, I wanted them to enjoy it. “It wasn’t the prettiest, especially in the second half, I thought first half we were really good, but they’re a good side.
