First look inside new £3m apartments inside former church

A number of original features have been retained

A church has been converted into 10 luxury apartments, complete with stained glass windows and a secret mezzanine.

The development has retained original features of the church, including the pulpit and the 130-year-old organ, which was refurbished to stand in the communal area of the building. After completion, several of the one and two bedroom apartments feature stained glass windows overlooking the dining area, as well as en-suite bathrooms and a secret mezzanine room.READ MORE: Fred.

The mezzanine room is reached by entering a hidden doorway amongst the kitchen panels, with stairs leading to the floor above. The apartments have on-site parking and are a short walk to South Road and Crosby Village. James Winters, co-owner of EW Developments, said: "This is another proud moment for EW Developments to complete on this amazing, historic project for our client.
