Ahead of the Oscars, we spoke to florence_pugh's stylist rcorbinmurray to discuss the star's evolving red carpet fashion.

Corbin-Murray also infused more specific odes to the film through the garments she dressed the star in. “There was one particular custom look from Emilia Wickstead, who based her spring 2020 show onwhich was a nod to the film,” said the stylist, referring to a pink and white gingham dress that Pugh wore in December.
earlier this month: Pugh wore a sequined Prada dress that was all about an icy, silvery aesthetic. “We had been holding onto that custom piece since before Christmas,” said Corbin-Murray. “We just loved the simple, timeless elegance of it, and the insanely beautiful embroideries. It was very modern Hollywood, and the hair and makeup team did such a great job of putting a twist on film star glamour in a contemporary way.
Looking forward to the remaining galas ahead, Corbin-Murray plans to continue her and Pugh’s whimsical approach to awards season dressing. She also said that fans can continue expecting the unexpected on the red carpet. “She loves playing around with her image and experimenting,” she said, “so I don’t think—like most areas of her life—that you could ever put Florence in a box!”
