Edgewood Academy football returns junior quarterback Brock Whitt after he switched to the position halfway though his sophomore year
The Edgewood Academy football team went 4-7 last year but finished second in their region to qualify for the AISA AAA playoffs. Now the Eagles enter their fifth year under head coach Chad Michael.
“He made a big jump for us last year with his athletic ability,” said Chad Michael, Edgewood Academy football head coach. “Having a half a season under his belt. Maturing, growing. I think having a chance to see him, he’s gonna be a good bet to make some real big plays for us back there.” “For me, it was more working on myself off the field than it is on the field,” said Brock Whitt, Edgewood Academy junior quarterback and linebacker. “So just treating people with respect, getting them right. Be funny, be an accepting guy. So if someone’s having a bad day, you have to have a good day.”
