Severe storms are possible for today and tonight from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. The thunderstorm risk continues West overnight.as a way to help neighbors identify if the dogs were loose or not complying with the laws. "Is there pictures of the owners.?" one user asked. We brought those questions right to Animal Care Services Director Shannon Sims.
A reminder: Dangerous dogs have a history of injuring people or there is a reasonable belief that they could injure someone, an affidavit has been filed on them, the city investigated, and a court deems them dangerous. The designation is not based on breed. Kenneth Phillips is a lawyer who specializes in dog cases. He says for cities, adding the names is a judgment call.
