West Yorkshire Police have issued an update on their investigation into a woman's death
It comes as the body of a woman was found at a home in Brown Hill Terrace on Monday . A large scene was in place in the area earlier this week with the whole street cordoned off by officers on Wednesday.
Officers smashed their way into the Leeds house where they found the body of a 44-year-old woman. A 34-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the death and released under investigation.West Yorkshire Police confirmed a murder enquiry had been launched following the discovery of the woman's body. On Thursday evening, police issued the following update: "Police can now confirm an arrest has been made in connection with the death of a woman in Harehills, Leeds.
"We would like to thank the public and the local media for their assistance with our appeal. Officers are no longer looking for Warren Spence. The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team is continuing enquiries."
