Reflecting on the season, Gendler pointed out that recent comparisons are influenced by the surge in tourism after COVID-19. One area that’s seen significant growth over the past few years is retail sales. Gendler shared that since 2021, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and the unincorporated areas of Fort Morgan have surpassed $1.4 billion dollars in retail sales each year.
As for what keeps people coming back, Gendler highlighted the wide range of activities the area offers.
