Trump to help address this crisis and better protect residents of Illinois, particularly in Chicago," in the post.for Mayor of Dolton by an overwhelming margin to Jason House, a former ally to her administration, in February 2025. Of the 4,400 votes cast in the election, Henyard received 536, while House collected 3,896.While serving as mayor, Henyard was no stranger to controversy. An hour-long documentary from NBC Chicago titled"Super Mayor: The Cost of Chaos in Dolton," dives into her rise to power and the controversies that unraveled throughout her time as mayor, including concerns over the spending of taxpayer dollars that led to an ongoing federal investigation.
