Officers were called to the 2600 block of Woodsedge Road around 12:35 a.m. on reports of a shooting.
On March 2, the former officer was seen by an Ohio state trooper committing multiple marked lane violations as she traveled down I-70. The trooper followed her vehicle as she exited onto Brice Road and pulled her over for a traffic stop.
She was administered a breathalyzer and results showed that her blood-alcohol content was .098 blood-alcohol content, which is above the legal limit of .08. The former officer was cited and then released to a friend. The letter also asked for the officer’s employment with the division to be terminated due to the “violation of the division rules of conduct.” Her termination was approved on March 7.
