The second half of the weekend is sunny, but clouds build back late Sunday ahead of our next best chance for rain!
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - A wild ride of winter weather unfolded across Alabama yesterday that included some snow, sleet and freezing rain. Areas north and northeast of Montgomery were the regions who saw the wintry weather closer to home; temperatures gradually warmed and any wintry precipitation that manages to develop quickly changed over to a cold, soaking rain for the remainder of our Friday evening.
Sunshine will be back in full force on Sunday with just a few fair weather clouds. Highs will warm into the 50s. Winds will calm and we will be dry. Next week looks mainly dry. Monday will be the warmest with highs in the 50s under a partly cloudy sky. Lows Monday night will drop into the 20s and 30s.
