Our initial discussions about expanding the, I was honored when Elie Jr. extended this extraordinary opportunity to me,” said Raphael, who is based in Athens, where her label’s headquarters are located.Raphael’s debut will be presented at the Elie Saab haute couture show in Paris in January.
“The accessories market — particularly the handbag sector — represents an ever-growing opportunity, and we are looking forward to establishing a stronger foothold within it. While handbags are already part of our product portfolio, we believe now is the optimal time to dedicate focused effort toward expanding this category and developing a distinct, recognizable identity that resonates with our customers,” Saab Jr. explained.
“We plan to showcase this line notably in our flagship stores and integrate it into our runway shows and major events. Through these efforts we aim to reinforce visibility and establish Elie Saab handbags as a key component of our brand’s identity,” Saab Jr. said.Both brands share a penchant for maximalism and don’t shy away from the use of crystals, leather, suede, feathers or velvet.
