Attalla City Schools confirms that coach Matt Glover has been placed on leave.
Etowah High head football coach Matt Glover has been placed on administrative leave by Attalla City Schools., Colegrove said Blake Bone would serve as the interim football coach.
“He will be responsible for all aspects of the football program until further notice,” Colegrove’s statement read. Glover is 8-6 in his second season with the Blue Devils. He’s also been head coach at Moody , Pinson Valley and St. Clair County . Etowah is 0-2 so far this year with losses to Springville and Fort Payne .
