Police are now treating the fire in the Ferguslie area of Paisley as deliberate and have since launched a probe, confirming that enquires are 'ongoing'.
An investigation has been launched after a fire ripped through an empty house in Paisley late last night .
Emergency services raced to the scene on Tannahill Road in the Ferguslie area of Paisley following reports of a fire at around 11.20pm on Wednesday. Images shared with Glasgow Live show the extent of the blaze as flames rip through the roof of the building. Police are now treating the fire as deliberate and have since launched a probe, confirming that enquires are "ongoing". A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.20pm on Wednesday, 24 July, 2024, we were called to a report of a fire in vacant premises in Tannahill Road, Paisley.“The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
