Harley Craig may have travelled to the Paisley and Barrhead areas with officers launching an appeal to bring him home to East Ayrshire after he was reported missing on Tuesday morning.
Police have launched an urgent appeal to trace a missing 17-year-old boy as concern for his welfare ramps up.

It is not known what he is wearing.
Inspector Michael Cowan said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Harley’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts, to contact police.“Likewise, if Harley sees or hears about this appeal, please call us, so we know you are safe and well.”
Anyone with information which could assist is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0700 of 16 July.
