Residents who need to take care of City business Friday, April 3, 2026, will find most municipal offices closed for a City holiday, though public safety and several essential services will continue operating.

SAN ANTONIO - City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed April 3. Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services will continue to operate as usual, with personnel on duty. Several services will run on adjusted schedules. The City’s 3-1-1 Call Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours from 5 to 11 p.m. for urgent animal concerns and traffic signal issues. Downtown on-street parking meters will be free for the day, though that does not apply to City-operated garages and parking lots. City parks and trails will remain open, and a limited number of Fitness in the Park classes will still take place. Garbage, recycling and organics collections will run on their normal schedule all week. Curbside brush and bulky item pickup will follow the schedule listed on door hangers at each address.
