After spending eight seasons in the NFL as a backup quarterback, Mannion joined the Packers’ coaching staff last year as an offensive assistant. Green Bay promoted him to QBs coach before the 2025 season. Mannion has spent the last two seasons learning from Packers head coach Matt Lafleur, one of the best offensive coaches in the NFL. He played for Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell and Rams head coach Sean McVay, two elite offensive minds. Although he is an unproven option, the Eagles could be intrigued by his background and his experience as a QB and working with QBs. Packers starting QB Jordan Love and backup Malik Willis both played well under Mannion this season.
