The Department for Work and Pensions has unveiled significant changes to Jobcentres that could impact millions. As the cost of living crisis persists, the DWP has implemented substantial changes in a bid to get more people into work.
The initiative targets the 9.4 million people who are "economically inactive," while 2.8m individuals are unemployed due to long-term illness, and 900,000 young people - one in eight - are not engaged in education, employment, or training.New Labour Party Cabinet minister and DWP chief Liz Kendall said: "Growth is our number one mission and, as the Chancellor said, our Back to Work Plan is central to achieving our plans.
