54A brief pursuit was terminated due to driver shutting off lights in the area of Ridge Road.The drunk Parma man was arrested for drunken driving.On Dec. 26, police observed a Buick Enclave run a red light on Grantwood Drive. The officer attempted to pull over the Buick, which fled at a high rate of speed traveling southbound on Broadview Road. The Enclave was clocked at more than 100 mph in a 35-mph zone, which is why police terminated the pursuit.Theft, Pershing Avenue:An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said a juvenile male visiting the residence stole items.On Dec. 27, police pulled over a Ford Escape with no rear license plate illumination traveling on Broadview Road.The Parma woman was arrested for drug abuse and cited for no license plate illumination.An arriving officer talked to the victim, who stated an unknown male forcefully took her purse and fled on foot from the Ridge Road establishment.On Dec. 27, police were dispatched to a Broadview Road address regarding the theft of a motor vehicle.
