Other Super 12 honorees are Dothan’s AJ Alexander, Enterprise’s Zion Grady and Eric Winters, Dale County’s Dallas Hedstrom, Houston Academy’s Gabe Glover and Kadyn Mitchell, Ariton’s Wells Ganey, Cottonwood’s King Campbell and Braylon Morris, Elba’s Cayden Adkins and Geneva County’s Brendan Hall.
“I took a different approach since it was my last season – my last first game , the last homecoming game and that I wouldn’t have another time again to play with an Elba Tigers uniform on,” Henderson said. “Obviously, I have enrolled early, and I will be able to play in the spring,” Henderson said. “My main goal is to get there and learn everything and become an asset to the team and help Auburn get back to where they were in recent years.”
Overall, Houston Academy returned a veteran team after finishing 10-2 and reaching the second round last year. Having a veteran offensive coordinator with college experience in Don Jacobs helped, added Brundidge.
