Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has revealed that Manchester City attempted to sign him before he joined the Red Devils in 2008. He told his agent to 'F*** off' and insisted on moving to Old Trafford due to its history, prestige, and manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

I was like, what do I say, how do I address him, will I look stupid? I had all these questions in my head, but he was great. He took us to Carrington and the drive in the car was like science fiction.
