Focus Features' 2025 drama film starring award-winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis has finally found a streaming home.
Anemone was directed by the acclaimed actor’s son, Ronan Day-Lewis, who also co-wrote the screenplay with his father. This served as the rising filmmaker’s feature-length directorial debut. Following its world premiere at the 2025 New York Film Festival, the film received mixed reviews from critics.

The film was produced by Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, with Daniel Day-Lewis and Brad Pitt serving as executive producers. The creative team also included director of photography Ben Fordesman, editor Nathan Nugent, and composer Bobby Krlic. Before his acting hiatus, Day-Lewis starred in Paul Thomas Anderson’s romantic period drama Phantom Thread.
