This was the restaurant's sixth time competing, and the first time it entered its buffalo sauce.

Center Street Grille's 1st place trophy for "best medium traditional wing sauce" from the National Buffalo Wing Festival.A central Pennsylvania restaurant has one of the best Buffalo wings sauce in the country, decided judges at the preeminent National Buffalo Wing festival, held this past Labor Day weekend.

This year, the festival celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Buffalo Wing, founded by the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, N.Y. “It’s our sixth year going up there, and restaurants come from all over. Some restaurants came from Iceland and Mexico”, Mager said. “Winning the best medium sauce during the 60th anniversary is pretty big for us.”, the restaurant shared that many businesses strive to earn this award. Center Street Grille succeeded on its first try with its variation of the “buffalo sauce.”

Amongst the rest of the categories, Center Street Grille took home a fourth-place award for “most wings sold” and third place for “favorite restaurant,” as voted online by festival goers.
