Part of I-90 eastbound was closed due to an accident Saturday afternoon.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, all lanes were closed on I-90/SR-2 East at SR-254/Detroit Road, due to a crash. According to the Rocky River Police Department, at approximately 2:10 p.
m. on Saturday, officers responded to a two-car traffic crash on I-90 eastbound at Detroit Road involving a 2008 Toyota and 2026 Nissan. Police said a preliminary investigation indicates that the 35-year-old Lakewood driver of the Toyota rear-ended the Nissan. The driver of the Nissan, a 54-year-old Lorain woman, along with four other passengers of women ranging in ages from 18 to 64, were transported to area hospitals with varying injuries.Police are still investigating the crash, and no charges have been filed at this time.
